Ministry Name : Anchored Hope: Cancer Care Ministry

Purpose & Mission

To provide Christ-centered support, compassion, and community for individuals and families impacted by cancer—offering practical help, emotional care, and spiritual encouragement throughout their journey.

Phase 1: Launch & Leadership

1. Appoint a Ministry Leader & Core Team

  • Identify a leader with passion and/or personal experience with cancer (survivor, caregiver, medical background, etc.)

  • Recruit 3–5 volunteers trained in caregiving, prayer, or counseling

  • Assign roles: communication, visitation, prayer coordinator, resources manager

2. Meet with Pastoral Staff

  • Set launch timeline and integration points with existing ministries (prayer, meals, pastoral care)
