I have always believed that communication is at the heart of connection. Throughout my life, I have found myself bringing people together, listening to their stories, sharing ideas, and connecting with people wherever they are in life. Today, as a speaker, Christian life coach, Stephen Ministry Leader, author, and founder of Carrie Flower Co., I bring together a diverse professional background with the perspective that comes from living through life’s unexpected turns.

My background includes public relations and marketing in healthcare, nonprofit leadership, early childhood education and curriculum development, and writing children’s books. Communication is at the heart of connection. Throughout my life, connecting with people, hearing their stories, sharing experiences, and learning from one another has been a constant thread. It has shaped both my professional life and the way I approach people today.

My background includes public relations and marketing in healthcare, nonprofit leadership, early childhood education and curriculum development, and writing children’s books. I have also spent years spearheading new programs and organizations, taking ideas from their beginnings through development and day-to-day operations. Each chapter of my career has strengthened my understanding of people, communication, leadership, and the importance of meeting people where they are.

But some of my greatest lessons came from the chapters I never planned for. Cancer, divorce, caregiving, loss, financial uncertainty, starting over, and major life changes challenged me in ways no professional role ever could. Looking back, I can now see the moments when God was working, even when I couldn’t recognize Him at the time.

Those experiences have shaped the work I do today as a speaker and Christian life coach and have given new purpose to Carrie Flower Co. Whether I am speaking to a room, coaching someone through a new season, or working alongside Bill, I bring faith, encouragement, perspective, humor, and the understanding that comes from having lived through hard things and finding a way forward.

My hope is that sharing what I’ve learned along the way helps others recognize the God moments in their own stories and see the purpose and possibility still ahead.

The Back Story

We started as Mom, Cynthia Post Mitchell, and Daughter, Kirby Mitchell Brislin, children’s book, author/illustrator, in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The theme for the books is teaching faith-based life coaching skills to children using flowers as characters. We blossomed into a social & emotional curriculum throughout the years with the help and expertise of many educators.

Now, relocated in Southern California, we have expanded our programs once again. Our Coach and Counselor team is dynamic in aiding people to aspire to reach their goals. We can help you!
